Disappointing Experience Despite the Charm
The colonial-style decor initially impressed me, but my stay quickly went downhill. No direct dialing from the room made communication tough, and I faced persistent issues with room cleanliness. Consider nearby options for a more pleasant stay, as others seemed significantly better.

Comfortable room with charming decor.
Our taxi experience left us feeling cheated. The hotel clerk conspired with the taxi driver to overcharge us. It's frustrating when you feel targeted for being a tourist, especially after an otherwise nice stay.

The stay highlighted the hotel's beautiful colonial ambiance and the cleanliness of the room, which featured comfortable beds and quality bedding. The location is ideal for exploring the historic center, despite the lively noise at night. Breakfast included delightful regional products, adding to the local experience. However, the noisy surroundings can be disruptive, and service speed during busy times could be improved.

The location of Posada Santa Fe is excellent, right next to the main plaza, making it easy to explore nearby shops and restaurants. I loved the old-world charm, with beautifully tiled floors and a cozy atmosphere that made me feel like I was in another era. The room I stayed in was a Junior Suite, spacious with a lovely balcony. The view of Teatro Juarez was stunning, especially during sunset. The staff were generally friendly and helpful, which added to the pleasant vibe. However, I did notice that service in the restaurant could be quite slow during busy hours, and the breakfast options lacked variety. Also, the noise from the plaza at night could be disturbing, especially with live music and celebrations. It’s worth asking for a room facing away from the square if you prefer quiet. Despite the minor inconveniences, the charm of the hotel and its great location made my stay enjoyable.

I stayed in a Junior Suite and the room was spacious and comfortable, with a nice balcony that had a great view of the Teatro Juarez. The colonial vibe with the beautiful tile floors was really charming. Just keep in mind that the noise from the church bells can be a bit much in the mornings, especially on Sundays.

A Historic Charm with a Twist
The hotel’s colonial feel was enchanting, especially the beautiful tiled floors. The staff felt like old friends, always welcoming and eager to help.
However, the noise from the plaza late at night disrupted our sleep, and the breakfast service could have been quicker during rush hours.
